Some of the comon load volumes

Minimum Load

  • Example: Small items or a single large item (e.g., a small couch or mattress).
  • Volume: Usually 1/8 to 1/4 of a truck.
  • Ideal For: Cleaning out a small room or garage corner

Quarter Load

  • Example: Multiple small items or a combination of smaller furniture and boxes.
  • Volume: Typically around 1/4 of a truck, or about 2-3 cubic yards.
  • Ideal For: Light decluttering or single-item pickup.

Half Load

  • Example: Larger pieces of furniture, appliances, and a few additional items.
  • Volume: Usually around 1/2 of a truck, or about 4-6 cubic yards.
  • Ideal For:Cleaning out a medium-sized room or a partial garage cleanout.

Full Load

  • Example:Enough items to fill an entire truck.
  • Volume:Usually 10-12 cubic yards, depending on truck size
  • Ideal For:Whole house cleanouts, large-scale renovations, or clearing out multiple spaces.

Multiple Truck Loads

  • Example:When the amount of junk exceeds the capacity of a single truck and or trailer.
  • Volume:More than 12 cubic yards.
  • Ideal For:Major cleanouts, estate cleanouts, hoarding situations, or large-scale demolition debris.
